Upcycling Ideas for Patriotic Decor

Upcycling Ideas for Patriotic Decor

With Memorial Day behind us and July 4th on the way, it’s easy to get swept up in all things red, white, and blue. Luckily for everyone, there are all kinds of upcycling ideas and repurposed projects for patriotic decor. From Independence Day decoration ideas to American flag decor, there is a lot inspiration for red, white, and blue decor out there.

Patriotic decor NEVER goes out of style, and it’s even more special when you’ve upcycled and repurposed something to create it!

I have, of course, completed several of my own Independence Day decorations that are upcycled and repurposed. My favorite one is probably this wreath made from patriotic ties

But I also love this American flag decor in buffalo plaid!

But, of course, I’m not the only upcycling blogger who has created some patriotic home decor with items from the thrift store!

So, I hunted down some terrific ideas from my blogger-friends, and I’m pretty sure you’ll be inspired. And patriotic decor works all summer long, well beyond Memorial day and Independence Day!

Such as this Liberty Bell that was made from a glass light shade

So, you can outfit your home, patio, and garden with any number of these upcycling ideas. Plus, you could always let the red, white, and blue decor fly all year long, too.
