Junkin’ Journey: Charleston, South Carolina (Part 1)

For several years now- literally, years- Jon and I have made plans to take a long weekend in Charleston, South Carolina…but for whatever reason, our plans have been scrapped due to any number of reasons. Finally, FINALLY, we made hotel reservations that we didn’t have to cancel, and a list of shops and eateries that we actually got to try!

And let me tell you- it was worth the wait. We had a MAGNIFICENT time and already have a list of places to check out during our next visit. If you are a junker, a shopper, a foodie, a beer snob, and/or a history buff, then Charleston needs to be on your Bucket List.

Now, truth be told, my kind of junk shopping does not fall under the category of “fine antiques”. North Charleston, Mount Pleasant, West Ashley, and Johns Island offer plenty of vintage shops, none of which are very far by car. So hop on board and let’s get started!Read more ›
