Even though I’ve assembled collections of upcycled Fall Decor projects in the past, I realized that I hadn’t done one for Thanksgiving ideas. Sure, there’s a lot of overlap, what with pumpkins and fall leaves. But getting that Thanksgiving aesthetic often means the inclusion of other symbols- turkeys, cornucopias, etc. So, I decided that another round-up of upcycling ideas was warranted! The truth is, I haven’t done many Thanksgiving-specific projects for my own blog! I did, however, make this tray and sign from a thrifted bamboo tray…
And this DIY place card that looks like a pilgrim hat…from the light fixture section at Habitat ReStore!
Of course, there are LOTS of Thanksgiving craft ideas that are geared towards kids. You know what I mean…tracing a hand and turning it into a turkey. Or folding black construction paper into a pilgrim hat.
But, of course, I prefer upcycling projects that can be used around the home in a tasteful way. Or perhaps, in the case of this upcycled wreath, on the front door during Thanksgiving season!
And these acorns, made from tweed sport coats, would also work for your Thanksgiving aesthetic. So, maybe I’ve done more projects for Turkey Day than I give myself credit for!
Either way, there are plenty of upcycling ideas for Thanksgiving out there. You could even say…a HORN of plenty of ideas. Wink, wink.
So, I’ve scoured the blogosphere in search of projects that you can create before the holiday arrives.

Either way, there are loads of ideas here for November crafts. Which is important, because I think a lot of us focus on Christmas so much that Thanksgiving sometimes gets lost in the chaos. But I’m here to remind you of how many fantastic upcycling ideas for Thanksgiving there are out there!
And in the spirit of the holiday, I hope you’ll indulge me as I share what I’m grateful for. Certainly for my health, which I’ve held onto these past couple of years when so many of us haven’t. For my husband, family, and closest friends…
