Mosquito Candles in Vintage Planters

Let’s face it, summer is NOT my favorite season in the South. Between a constant case of “humidity hair” to a melted make-up sweaty glow, it just leaves much to be desired. But, I still love sitting out back and listening to the summer yard sounds as the sun goes down. So, I desperately needed to make some mosquito candles that would keep the bugs away.
Umbrella Wreath for Cinco de Mayo Decor

This is one of those projects that I have wanted to make for a very long time. I kept meaning to start it, but other projects kept cutting in line. I also never remembered to look for paper umbrellas for drinks when I was shopping. So, I finally buckled down the other day, hopped on Etsy, and purchased two boxes of vintage drink umbrellas. Now I could finally make an umbrella wreath to use as Cinco de Mayo decor and really, all summer long!
