Antiquing and Thrift Shopping in Asheville

September/October 2024 Update: Many, if not all, of these places in Asheville were impacted or destroyed by Hurricane Helene. There’s no telling when Asheville will fully recover and whether or not these businesses will be able to rebuild. I’ve added GoFundMe and donation information for the various stores/agencies and will update it as I learn new information.

A free weekend at Casa Seasongoods often results in a “Junkin’ Journey” trip for us- or, in other words, a weekend spent exploring a new southeastern city/town in search of amazing vintage/secondhand treasures. Antiquing in Cleveland, TN

If you follow me on Facebook, then you know that we recently spent some time at our family’s cabin in Blue Ridge, Georgia. We decorated the cabin Christmas tree AND we set aside some time to explore a new town not too far away: Cleveland, TN. In fact, the drive between Blue Ridge and Cleveland is really beautiful, as the road winds along the Ocoee River which then becomes Lake Ocoee…and there is just something magnificent about mountainside waterways.
