Back in July 2001, I celebrated my quarter-life achievement by taking myself to Ireland. I saved my pennies, researched and planned, and enjoyed a wondrous week abroad, visiting Dublin, Galway, and the Ring of Kerry. One of my very favorite moments, though, was driving through the Burren- a rolling landscape of classic Irish countryside.
