Making a Brooch Pin with Wood Appliques and Tweed Fabric

For two years now, I’ve had a bag of wood appliques (those wooden embellishments that furniture makers put on chairs and armoires, etc.) just sitting in my craft room. I purchased them at an architectural antiques store in Nashville, TN because they seemed PERFECT for a future project. At the time, I didn’t know what I’d do with them, but then I wondered if I could upcycle them into jewelry – specifically a brooch pin.
