Curb Appeal Ideas from The DIY Housewives

Curb Appeal Ideas from The DIY Housewives

It’s time for a new collection of project ideas from The DIY Housewives! This means that a group of my blogging friends (The DIY Housewives) will be sharing an older project as part of a themed collection. Sometimes, the theme will be seasonal…or based on a project material…or possibly a room in your home. No matter what, each collection will be a wonderful way to find timely inspiration in one compact posting- plus, you’ll get to know new bloggers and some of their favorite older projects. And with our calendars reading June, it’s a very good opportunity to work on…

Curb Appeal

Now, truth be told, most of my outdoor projects are on the quirkier side and might not be classified as traditional curb appeal improvements (such as lighting…landscaping…or garden edging). BUT, I do think creating a personalized address numerals sign counts as curb appeal, right? So, I am re-sharing this project today…which will always be special to me because I found a vintage barn stall plaque that matched our home address. Talk about crafting kismet…

It was also an interesting project because I repurposed a thrift store cutting board as the backing and made my own wood stain! Such an interesting project and process, indeed.

Now, let’s look at the Curb Appeal project ideas that The DIY Housewives have done- just click on the photos to head to their tutorials!

Do you have any Curb Appeal projects planned this summer? I’d love to hear about them in the comments!

Craft on!
