Boho Style Halloween Jack-o-Lantern

Boho Style Halloween Jack-o-Lantern

Earlier this year as I worked on my Thrift the Look: Boho Decor blog post, I thrifted and collected a bunch of small terracotta pots. I’m not much of a gardener – indoors or outdoors – so the clay pots went back into the garage when I was done. But as October drew closer, I started to wonder how one would look as a Halloween jack-o-lantern.Read more ›

Floating Ghosts / Friendly Ghosts from Brass Candlesticks

After last Halloween when I created this fun candy holder, I was determined to create another project for a Halloween ghost – friendly ghosts, for sure! Halloween Candy Bowl / Ghost Decoration from a Sewing Bucket

Making a Halloween Jack-o-Lantern from a Paper Plate Holder

Making a Halloween Jack-o-Lantern from a Paper Plate Holder

On a recent trip to Goodwill, I noticed one paper plate holder after another. You know the kind I’m talking about? The wicker paper plate holders that were once found in nearly every kitchen. Well, apparently they’re all getting donated to the thrift store! I knew I needed to come up with an upcycling idea for them, and a Halloween jack-o-lantern seemed like a good place to start.
