I have a confession to make- I’m REALLY excited about today’s project post. Not only did it solve a storage problem I had, but it’s also an announcement of sorts. I’ve joined the “Thrift Store Décor Team”, which is a group of the most amazing upcycling/transformation bloggers around. Once a month, we all repurpose a thrift store piece (something small- no big furniture) to post on the second Wednesday of the month. A funny, but true story- I picked up this heavy wooden magazine holder two years ago. I didn’t know what I’d end up doing to or with it, but it was so heavy and well-made that I couldn’t pass it up. But, it sat in our garage for all that time…and I was just about ready to put it in our donation pile. Right before I had given up hope, though, I posted it in a fun upcycling group on Facebook and asked for DIY ideas.
