Not too long ago, I had a REALLY fortuitous thrifting trip- as I drove home, I realized I had found materials for nine different projects. NINE! On one of my typical thrifting adventures, I spied this mini chest of drawers near the cash register at the thrift shop. I didn’t really fancy the painted fruit “still life” that covered it, but I WAS curious about the wood underneath the paint. The idea of a “makeunder” floated through my mind as I envisioned a vintage library card catalog as the end result.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a TERRIBLE habit of losing my gardening gloves. After some yard work, I’d come into the garage, rip off my gloves, and fling them wherever I could before going inside. It has led to countless trips to the hardware store to buy new gloves – wasteful in money, time, and well…gloves!
