100+ Upcycling Projects for Halloween and Autumn Home Decor

It doesn’t feel like Fall yet outside my door, but I am so very ready for it. And based on feedback I’ve received from my readers and friends, y’all are more than ready for the seasons to change, too. So, my fellow Thrift Store Decor Team gals and I decided to pool all of our best upcycling ideas for autumn home decor into a single collection. Call it the ULTIMATE collection of repurposed and upcycled fall decor ideas and projects.

And we didn’t stop at just fall pumpkins, acorns, and owls. We mixed in some Halloween craft ideas, too!

Normally, we do this kind of group post in December with our favorite projects from that year. But we decided to expand that idea with more big, themed posts throughout the year.

And a huge pool of projects for autumn home decor seemed like a great place to start. Pumpkins and acorns and fall leaves, oh my!

And as most you know, Fall is my favorite season. So, I love, love, love this collection and just want to make all the autumn-y things!

Trick-or-Treat Halloween Candy Stand

I’ve loved this project since the day I created it. And my original plan was to keep from bending down to hand out candy! But in today’s strange and socially distant world, it would be SO PERFECT for safer trick-or-treating. Just put it on the porch or sidewalk for a low contact Halloween that still feels fun and festive!

Fall Rake Wreath by Petticoat Junktion

I always love a non-traditional wreath and using a rake head is a delightfully humorous way to celebrate Fall without any of the backbreaking work! AND this one is super easy to put together, so that’s always a huge bonus.

Pumpkin Planter for Succulents by My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia

This crafty idea upgrades a plain foam pumpkin into a chic and elegant succulent pot. Wouldn’t a series of these along the center of your dining table be lovely?
